Matched Giving Policy

1. Purpose

[Company Name] matches charitable donations made by our employees, up to an annual cap, to amplify the impact of staff giving and to support causes our team cares about.

2. How matching works

For every £1 you donate to an eligible charity, we contribute £1 to the same charity, up to [Cap] per employee per leave year.

3. Eligible charities

Any UK registered charity, charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), or community amateur sports club (CASC).

4. Eligible donations

Personal donations made by you (Payroll Giving, Direct Debit, JustGiving, sponsorship, one-off) within the current leave year. We do not match donations made by friends or family on your behalf.

5. How to claim

Submit proof of your donation (receipt, PG agency confirmation, or JustGiving page link) via [system / form / email] within 60 days of the donation.

6. Payment

We pay the matched amount directly to the charity within 30 days of approving your claim.

7. Privacy

Information about who claims and how much is treated confidentially.

8. Tax

Matched contributions paid by the company are deducted as a normal Corporation Tax expense. Employees do not need to declare matched amounts on Self Assessment.
